Hair Loss Surgery Pictures

A Story In Hair Loss Surgery Pictures

For a long time I assumed I would let my hair fall out and then when it got bad I would go for surgery. The surgery ads were everywhere - on almost every late night commercial - so I assumed that it was a quick and painless process that I can do in a couple of hours for only a small investment in order to keep my hair.

The only part of that that was right was the time frame.

After looking at hair loss surgery pictures, it was clear I was mistaken. So I decided to look up as much about the surgery as I could.

First of all, the cost is downright ludicrous. You do not pay for the surgery per se - rather you pay per hair grafted on your scalp. That can be thousands of hairs, each transplanted for 5.00 per hair. We are talking thousands upon thousands of dollars for this surgery even though it only takes approximately 4 hours to complete.

In addition, as the hair loss surgery pictures indicated, it was clear that it was not painless. I could tell right away from the hair loss surgery pictures that there were large scabs on people's heads that looked as though they either hurt or itched like crazy. In addition, there were a number of hair loss surgery pictures that indicated that some hairs fall out after the surgery is complete.

I looked all of these things up and saw that:

  1. It was not at all painless. They numb your head but there is quite a lot of bleeding and scabbing.
  2. Itching is right - there is supposed to be a great deal of itching that can cause your hair to fall out if you scratch too hard.
  3. There is something known as 'Shock Loss' where your hair, 'surprised' by its new location, falls out in clumps. The hair does grow back, but for a while you are going to have large patches of hair missing from your head that will make it look as though you were in an accident.

Those hair loss surgery pictures told the whole story. I immediately decided to start looking for an all natural supplement to prevent hair loss so that I would never have to go through the surgery at all. I came across a shampoo/pill treatment combination known as Procerin and I am now preventing hair loss rather than expecting it.
